In the season of giving, Rely-On Technologies reaches outward to notable causes to support those who, like us, began with humble beginnings and with a greater cause. We recently collaborated with YouTube sensation Jessica Chou, best known to her 16,000 followers as Jessicann, to support her mission in teaching women about mechanical repair on not only their own vehicles and the broader automotive industry. Jessica recognizes a need to educate women about their own vehicles, but the art of the deal when conducting business with auto body shops and mechanics. Women often find themselves unsure of vehicle logistics and, more importantly, fair pricing when seeking professional services. As an equal opportunity business, Rely-On recognizes the importance to support women like Jessica who are looking to break barriers in this industry.
Jessica recently showcased her talents at the 2017 Los Angeles Automotive Show, held from December 1st through the 10th. Specifically, Jessica’s female-centric booth Girls Pit Stop provided tutorials to women and young girls in attendance on how to fix their car. As a previous vendor in 2016 with her Girl’s Garage booth, Jessica continues to break barriers for women by educating both women (and men) on the importance of empowering those who would otherwise feel insecure in a male-dominated market. Rely-On could not be any more proud to support Jessica and her endeavor in what will only strengthen the automotive industry today.
